Italy was playing soccer
Argentina was dancing the tango
New Zealand was filming the Hobbit
Israel was fighting its neighbors.

at 3:32 a.m.
the moon became a colony of Beijing
at 4:49 a.m.
the moon became a big strip mine
at 4: 52 a.m.
the moon became unhappy
and turned off her light.
