wife says, "what are you doing?"
man grows wings, flies across sky.
wife calls TV, says, "my husband is bird!"
TV asks man, "how did this happen?"
man beats wings, turns TV camera into rocket ship.
wife packs suitcase, boards ship, says, "understand now."

rocket ship leaves planet Earth,
travels at speed of light.
wife whistles happy tune,
man imitates whooping crane.

stars shine like icicles
in ink-black Void.
